Brand workshop leader
Working with Orange stakeholders across a wide range of internal teams including: usability experts, designers, developers, product managers, device managers and brand.
Liaising with device manufacturers and third party developers.
Balancing consistent user experience within a particular platform with the need for product managers to streamline delivery across a range of platforms and provide a universally Orange brand experience.
Organising a series of workshops and clinics to capture anecdotal information and expertise from experienced platform designers, developers and product managers.
Distilling information from a wide range of sources to produce guidelines that are:
• accessible for new users and deep enough for expert users
• work alongside device manufacturers guidelines and Orange brand guidelines without contradiction or confusion.
To date guidelines have been published for Nokia S40, BlackBerry and Windows Phone 7 platforms.
These Guidelines have been the foundation to delivering a range of apps including:
• Orange Daily
• Orange Wednesday
• Orange Maps
• Orange App Shop
Many of the guidelines are now in their second iteration.
